All Rosies jewelry is produced with love and should also be treated with appropriate care. Each material has its own characteristics and qualities. Each product page states what material the jewelry is made of. Below we describe the materials that you will find with us and how you can best care for them.

GOLD PLATED BRASS/STERLING SILVER 925

Gold plated jewelry has a metal base (copper or sterling silver 925) over which a layer of gold has been poured. Rosies only uses high-quality gold plating. The sturdy base metal of the jewelry makes it sturdier and will not bend easily. Our jewelry has a layer of 14K or 18K gold, the higher the number, the thicker the plating. It is important to take good care of your gold-plated jewelry to keep it beautiful for as long as possible. The material can wear out over time, this depends on the pH value of your skin, the frequency of wear and how carefully you handle the jewelry. We therefore recommend taking off the jewelry when swimming, showering and sleeping and avoiding contact with aggressive products (such as perfume, creams and other cosmetics).

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless steel is a material that is very popular among jewelry wearers. The material is allergy-free and waterproof, making it ideal if you like to wear your jewelry all day long. If the piece of jewelry is treated properly, stainless steel can retain its color for a long time.
